Terms and conditions
Last updated 30 August 2026.
Plain version: you're buying a digital PDF, it lands in your inbox once payment goes through, and because it's digital and delivered straight away, purchases are final. The rest of this page is the detail behind that.
1. Who you're buying from
PGDA Notes by Courts is run by Courts, an individual seller — not a company or a marketplace. These terms are between you and Courts directly. Questions or complaints go to courtneywickens451@gmail.com.
2. What you're buying
Each product is one section of PGDA/CTA study notes, sold as a single PDF, grouped under Financial Reporting, Management Accounting & Finance, Taxation, or Corporate Governance & Auditing. You buy sections individually — there's no bundle or subscription.
3. Price and payment
Prices are shown in South African rand and include whatever the listed price says — there are no hidden fees added at checkout. Payment is processed by Paystack. We never see or store your card details; Paystack handles that directly.
4. Delivery
Once your payment is confirmed, your download links are shown on-screen when you're returned to this site from payment. You can also get them again at any time using the "Already paid? Get your notes" link in the footer, by entering your order reference and the email you paid with. Check that email address is correct before paying — it's how an order is matched back to you.
5. Refunds and cancellations
Purchases are final once payment is made. This is a digital product delivered electronically, and under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, the standard consumer right to cancel an electronic transaction doesn't apply once you've consented to receive digital content and delivery has begun. Placing an order and accepting these terms at checkout is that consent.
In plain terms: changing your mind, buying the wrong section by mistake, or deciding you didn't need it after all are not grounds for a refund.
That's different from something on our side going wrong — if a file is genuinely corrupted, won't open, or you were sent the wrong section entirely, tell us and we'll fix it (resend the correct file, or a working copy) rather than treat it as a refund request.
6. Using the notes
Notes are for your own personal study. Please don't redistribute, resell, forward, or post them anywhere — including in study groups, class chats, or file-sharing sites. Each purchase is a personal-use copy, not a licence to share.
7. Accuracy
These notes are written by Courts from personal study experience. They're a study aid, not official course material — they aren't endorsed by SAICA, your university, or any examining body, and buying them doesn't guarantee any particular exam result. Always check anything important against your own prescribed material.
8. Changes to what's on offer
Sections, prices, and descriptions may change over time as notes get updated or new sections are added. Changes don't affect anything you've already bought — your order is a snapshot of what you paid for at the time.
9. Liability
These notes are supplied as-is, as a study aid. To the extent the law allows, PGDA Notes by Courts isn't liable for exam outcomes, academic results, or decisions made based on the notes' content.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time; the version on this page at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to it.
